Totally Awesome 90's Party

Let's admit it, the 90's were totally awesome. Our lifegroup is doing a video bible study on marriage.  A hilariously cheesy made in the 90's video.  The content is great, but the cheese factor of the video, the collared dresses and mullets could not be ignored. We had the great idea of dressing up decked out in bad fashion from the 90's and having a little kickoff party for our study. We ate Gushers and Fruit by the Foot and of course Funions...all great food of the 90's. We played a name that 90's song game.  And everyone brought their "best" 90's photo of themselves.

Do you have any idea how difficult it was to find something to fit my belly!?

What was your favorite part of the 90's?

The house that's almost a HOME!!

We're buying a house! A super cute 1945 Cape Cod style home with gorgeous wood floors throughout, 3 bedrooms, 1800 square feet, full basement, fenced in yard house one block from our favorite park and an elementary school.  Sounds almost too good to be true.

Well of course no home is perfect, and this one has it's fair share of issues--like the horrid exterior paint, the 1 bathroom, and the small kitchen with no dishwasher--, but it's almost ours which means we can change all of those things when the time comes.

Tomorrow we have the inspection, but don't foresee any major issues since the homeowners took extra good care of it.  Then we have the long waiting period until we close on April 7th.  And we'll be praying everyday that we made the right choice and that things go smoothly in the next 6 weeks until closing.

We're so excited to have a house that's almost our HOME.

Oh yes, and if you're curious to see just how cute it is, click here for photos.  :)

Potty Trained....almost

Will's a big boy now.  It's been 6 days since his first #2 on the potty and he's been rocking it ever since!  I haven't changed one poopy diaper in 6 days!  He is so proud of himself when he does his business. He loves to wave goodbye to the poo when he flushes.  It's hilarious.  Last night after his bath he was sitting on the toilet and he kept tooting which he thought was the funniest thing ever and he kept saying "uh oh!"...I couldn't stop laughing at him.  He's starting to get the peeing thing down too!  Yippie skippy! So there you go, at 20 months my little man is almost fully potty trained.

I now have to add that I totally jinxed myself by writing this and Will pooped in his diaper today.  Twice.  :(

28 weeks: a comparison

28 weeks with Will

28 weeks with baby girl

I don't know which one is more babylicious.  It would be easier if I was wearing the same shirt.  I think they're pretty comparable in their rotundness. What do you think?
